Going the Extra Mile (GEM) Award – Peer Recognition Program

Metrohm USA recognizes and rewards exceptional results and values the contributions of its employees. We also encourage employees to recognize and encourage the contributions of their peers through the program called Going the Extra Mile (GEM) Award. The GEM Award provides all employees with an opportunity to recognize and reward their Peers and to celebrate their successes as they relate to our Core Values. This award recognizes one employee per quarter and is intended for individual employees who make exceptional contributions AND display one or more of Metrohm USA’s Core Values.

 Some examples include:

• Providing outstanding service = Demand and Deliver the Best
• Implementing a new idea saving significant time and/or money = Respect Company Assets
• Completing a significant project = Be Accountable

In addition to embracing Metrohm USA’s Core Values, an employee can also be recognized for a onetime exceptional achievement that may otherwise go unnoticed, such as volunteering for extra assignments during critical times while maintaining the commitments to their regular work assignment (or usual responsibilities).
