Product Manager / Process Analytics
As a Product Manager & Applications Developer, you will:
- Support all Process Analytical sales and marketing activities
- Support Process Analytical sales initiatives by providing pre-sales technical support
- Perform pre-sales site visits to qualify customers and evaluate process parameters
- Travel to customer sites for training, installation, and troubleshooting services as required.
Degree/Experience sought:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry (or related discipline) from an accredited college or university and three years of related sales experience in analytical instruments and/or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two years of experience with sales/support of process analyzers
- Minimum of two years of experience with liquid chemical analysis in a lab or process setting.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to conduct application studies.
- Aptitude/experience with formulation of marketing plans and campaigns • Ability to manage and complete multiple projects
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of NIR Spectroscopy strongly preferred.

Field Sales Representative
A successful Metrohm Sales Representative is the customer’s expert, go-to source for system advice and recommendations to optimize application workflow and results. Extensive prospecting, travel to customer sites, excellent communication skills and competent product demonstrations are essential to build this rapport, generate leads and close sales. Participation at local tradeshows as a “Metrohm ambassador” and regional seminar offerings may also be required. General “housekeeping” tasks include continuous lead and customer data management, fast and accurate customer quotations, timely customer follow-up. Field Service Specialist
A successful Metrohm Field Service Specialist applies his/her chemistry knowledge and technical experience to solve customer’s instrumentation issues and ensure optimal system (and customer) performance. Service calls always begin with diagnosing and troubleshooting (remotely or onsite) customer’s application performance problems. On-site service may include simple-to-complex repairs, installations, preventive maintenance, certification, refresher training and more. All service and calibration work is performed according to established procedures and instrument specifications—service is “complete” once a series of samples are run that demonstrate accurate, consistent results. Extensive regional travel and heavy phone-based support is the norm. Ability to juggle/prioritize a busy schedule over a large territory essential; positive customer relations, as well as good collaboration with local Sales colleagues and customer support, ensure sure-fire success in this role.

Technical Applications Specialist
As a Technical Applications Specialist, you will work in the Applications and Sales Support Laboratory, your duties include supporting the sales and service efforts by running test samples in the lab and developing applications for internal and external customers. You will document the application work in written form and must be able to present and discuss applications with the sales and service team and customers using various media including; formal laboratory report, PowerPoint, face to face meetings or via WebEx. This role serves as an active member of a team that represents the company at scientific meetings, customer visits and training sessions.
Degree/Experience sought:
- A minimum of (B.S.) in a Science degree combined with at least (2) years related experience. A Doctorate (Ph.D.), (M.S.) combined with at least (1) year related experiences is preferred. Alternative equivalent combination of education and experiences may be considered.
Additional requirements:
- Demonstrated knowledge of Analytical Chemistry, applications and products
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

NIRS Applications Chemist
 As NIRS Applications Chemist, you will:
- Run test samples in the lab and develop applications for customers, documenting the application work in written form. Present and discuss applications work with the sales and service team and customers.
- Make recommendations on the appropriate products and configuration for applications and document applications and technical information in a database for use by sales, service and customer service.
- Provide technical customer service support for all Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS). Take ownership of all assigned projects and communicates with all of the stakeholders on progress and results.
- Participate as an active member of a team that represents the company at scientific meetings, customer visits, training sessions, etc and assumes responsibility and accountability for follow through on commitments as an integral part of the customer experience with Metrohm USA.
- Train and support of all sales and service personnel.
- Assist technical support with on-site installation of products and troubleshoots problems, either by phone or visiting customers, to resolve technical issues.
Degree/Experience sought:
A Master's Degree (PhD preferred) in Analytical Chemistry; Three years of related work experience with Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS), Five years preferred.
Additional requirements:
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills must include the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints and write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Excel and Word.
- Ability and desire to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

Installation Specialist
As an Installation Specialist, you will install Metrohm instruments at customer locations. The primary focus will be ion chromatography. This includes customer software programming, application, and custom designed instrument set-ups. In addition you will train customers on their application using any Metrohm instruments as required. In addition you will establish and maintain a good working relationship with all customers and insure working with MetrohmUSA is a positive experience.
Regional travel to customers and heavy phone-based support will be involved.

Customer Support Specialist
As a Customer Support Specialist, you will:
Provide telephone support to customers, distributors, and field representatives; Assist customers with product requests, order entry and other customer account activity; Respond to customer emails and place orders by purchase orders; Provide assistance in spare parts order entry and follow up to specific customer demands. Warehouse Manager
As the Warehouse Manager you will:
- Manage the operational procedures for a 26,000 sq. ft. warehouse, Quality and accuracy of outgoing shipments; handling and disposition of materials and demo stock; and the movement and storage of inventory.
- Perform all functions of warehouse team as a working manager to ensure daily shipping and receiving workflow is completed.
