Sales Positions

Sales-RepAre you hands-on & technical with analytical equipment? Do you have sales experience with scientific instruments?

A successful Metrohm Sales Representative is the customer’s expert, go-to source for system advice and recommendations to optimize application workflow and results. You will prospect and travel to client sites to build rapport with the customer base. You will perform product presentations and demonstrations at client sites and solve technical problems utilizing the products and resources of Metrohm USA. Participation at local tradeshows & regional seminars as a “Metrohm ambassador” may also be required. Run the full sales cycle, including following up on leads, demos, problem solving, presentations, quotations, closing and after sale follow up.
 
Service Positions

Service_04Do you enjoy solving customer problems? Do you excel at troubleshooting scientific instruments?

It’s your chance to be an integral part of dynamic team and make an immediate impact! As a successful Metrohm Field Service Specialist you will apply your instrument /chemistry knowledge and technical experience to solve customers' instrumentation issues and ensure optimal system performance. On-site service may include simple-to-complex repairs, installations, preventive maintenance, certification, refresher training and more. You will get to travel to a diverse group of labs, meet different people and see various instrument applications at work.  You will have the resources to support the client face to face, via phone, email and WebEx.  The ability to juggle/prioritize a busy schedule over a large territory essential; positive customer relations, as well as good collaboration with local Sales colleagues and customer support, ensure sure-fire success in this role. Field travel will be required.
 
Applications Specialist Positions

Technical-ApplicationsDo you love working with analytical instruments? Enjoy problem solving? Enjoy interacting and presenting technical information to others?

As an Applications Specialist, you will work in the Applications and Sales Support Laboratory, you will get to support the sales and service efforts by running test samples in the lab and developing applications for both internal and external customers. After your work is documented, you will present and discuss applications with the sales and service team and customers using various media including: Formal laboratory report, PowerPoint, face to face meetings or via WebEx.
This role serves as an active member of a team that represents the company at scientific meetings, customer visits and training sessions. This would be a great opportunity for a chemist that is looking for a challenge in addition to working in a lab.

Product Specialist Positions

Electroplating155Are you hands-on with analytical chemistry equipment? Do you want more personal interaction and the ability to solve technical problems?

As a Metrohm Product Specialist, you will provide technical assistance and recommend methods in support of the sales process for each respective product line. Activities might include demonstrations of systems, presentations, seminars and customer visits. You will act as a liaison with various governing bodies and write technical articles in order to promote Metrohm solutions within the marketplace. You will test samples in the lab, develop applications for internal and external customers and assist in the installation of the products in the field.
 
Product Marketing Manager Positions

Careers-ServiceThe Ion Chromatography Product Marketing Manager will serve as the marketing expert for Metrohm Ion Chromatography instruments within the Product Marketing team. The key purpose of this role is to continuously evaluate the competitive position of Metrohm IC products in the market and to design and execute marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and revenue growth.

Working closely with the applications team, the Ion Chromatography Product Marketing Manager will monitor trending applications development from our in-house team and from external sources. This person will be responsible for incorporating these new developments into the marketing plan.

Spectroscopy Product Manager

155_labgirlThe Spectroscopy Product Manager will serve as the technical and marketing expert for Metrohm Spectroscopy products including our laboratory and process NIR systems as well as our Raman product offering. A key position on the Product Marketing team, this leader will continuously evaluate the position of Metrohm spectroscopy products in the market and design and execute marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and revenue growth.

Leveraging a background in molecular spectroscopy, the Product Manager will serve as the technical lead for assigned products. This includes preparing both sales- and customer-facing materials for product launch, advanced technology support of our applications and technical support team. This person will provide product leadership and will product line logistics (pricing, part numbers), improve sales tools and strategies, and help define service parts and support strategy for the products.
