Field Sales Specialist – Titration
A successful Metrohm Titration Sales Specialist is the customer’s expert, go-to source for system advice and recommendations to optimize application workflow and results. Extensive prospecting, travel to customer sites, excellent communication skills and competent product demonstrations are essential to build this rapport, generate leads and close sales. Participation at local tradeshows as a “Metrohm ambassador” and regional seminar offerings may also be required. General “housekeeping” tasks include continuous lead and customer data management, fast and accurate customer quotations, timely customer follow-up. Positive collaboration with field service colleagues, as well as customer support, applications chemists and marketing teams ensure sure-fire success in this role.

Sales Analyst
The Analyst will develop standard reports, ad-hoc reports, perform analysis on customer lifecycle and purchase behaviors at the direction of the VP of Sales.
Responsibilities:
• Program, track and analyze key metrics for customer initiatives
• Provide reports to the Management and the “Customer Planning” committees, including historical trends and projections
• Develop and communicate understandings about acquisition, retention and attrition, to drive improved results in file growth, assimilation, reactivation and profitability
• Perform analysis on key customer segments and identify trends and patterns of emerging new strategies
• Prepare datasets, extract data from customer database and perform merge/purge functions
• Coordinate administrative duties for VP of Sales, including but not limited to travel, meeting planning, agenda design and communication, etc.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, finance, economics or related field required.
• 3+ years of database marketing experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in quantitative analysis and data mining, such as predictive modeling, segmentation and customer profiling
• Demonstrated ability to interpret data, draw conclusions and develop actionable insights
• Experience combining and summarizing large data sets for specific business analyses
• Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills
• Strong Communications Skills
• Exceptional Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills
Preferred Requirements:
• Experience with Access database is a plus
• Experience working with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Mapping, CRM) is a plus
• 2+ years or SQL or related programming skills

Electrochemistry Sales Representative

Laboratory Chemist
A successful Metrohm Laboratory Chemist prepares reagents, standards and samples for analytical use and analysis. Follow Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures as outlined by customer and internal expectations to complete analyses. Support the lab operations through analytical testing and troubleshooting process and procedures. Display primary knowledge of Ion Chromatography, Liquid Chromatography and ICP processes and analyses. Responsible for sample entry and writing disposal information. Performs daily calibration of balances and tests/checks on the water system. Responsible for bottle contract shipments. Responsible for returning customer coolers. Assures water bottles are rinsed and filled on a daily basis. Performs all filing duties for AS Contract Lab. Maintain and update the MSDS for all chemicals stored in the AS Contract Lab.
Degree/Experience sought:
BS/BA in Chemistry (or closely related degree) and 4 years of hands-on repair experience
Additional requirements:

As a Technical Applications Specialist, you will run test samples in the lab and develop applications for customers, documenting the application work in written form. You will provide technical customer support for all Analytical Systems instrumentation, including the automation of complex systems, providing quote support for Field-based Sales Team, troubleshooting, either by phone or onsite.
A Doctorate (Ph.D.) or Masters degree (M.S.) combined with at least five years related experiences or Bachelor's degree (B.S.) combined with at least ten years’ related experience.

As a Technical Support Team Lead, you will:
Oversee approximately five Technical Support Specialists. You will report to the Director of Technical Support. In this role you will share your knowledge and skills with members of the team and assist them with their functions and perform all duties and tasks as needed. You will also be responsible for the scheduling of the team’s activities and their training activities. The role of formal supervision and evaluation of staff will remain with the Director of Technical Support.

Field Service
A successful Metrohm Field Service Specialist applies his/her chemistry knowledge and technical experience to solve customer’s instrumentation issues and ensure optimal system (and customer) performance. Service calls always begin with diagnosing and troubleshooting (remotely or onsite) customer’s application performance problems. On-site service may include simple-to-complex repairs, installations, preventive maintenance, certification, refresher training and more. All service and calibration work is performed according to established procedures and instrument specifications—service is “complete” once a series of samples are run that demonstrate accurate, consistent results. Extensive regional travel and heavy phone-based support is the norm. Ability to juggle/prioritize a busy schedule over a large territory essential; positive customer relations, as well as good collaboration with local Sales colleagues and customer support, ensure sure-fire success in this role.

BS/BA in Chemistry (or closely related degree) and 4 years of hands-on repair experience

As a Service Representative, you will apply your technical knowledge and experience to solve technical problems and perform complex repairs, installations, training, preventive maintenance, instrument validations and certifications. You will assure that repair, calibration and service work is performed in compliance with established procedures and manufacturer specifications. Regional travel to customers and heavy phone-based support will be involved.
A BS/BA in Chemistry or closely-related degree and 4 years of hands-on experience are strongly preferred, but not required.

Responsible for sales and support of all Applikon products through direct and distribution channels.
As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for sales and support of all Applikon products through direct and distribution channels. Travel throughout assigned territory to call on established and prospective customers to create demand for products and/or solicit orders. This activity includes both personal visits and contact by phone. Attends trade exhibits and distributor shows for the purpose of promoting products.
