Temperature Control (TC)

Three Temperature Controllers (TC) are available to work in conjunction with the Column Heaters. TC heaters are precision solid-state temperature measurement and heater control instruments. Temperature measurement is provided by an A/D converter and associated circuitry calibrated for a 1,000-Ω platinum resistance temperature detector (RTD).

The TC-55 is a microcomputer-based dual-channel heater control instrument. The unit is capable of accurately maintaining the temperature of two Brinkmann laboratory heating units independently and simultaneously. Temperature programming is provided for both channels via a front-panel keypad and an RS-232 serial port. The RS-232 serial port offers the capability of self-adapting to any of the three commonly used Baud rates.
