887 UV/VIS Detector

Our newest detector features a diode array to reliably quantify those components that absorb ultraviolet or visible light.

The simplest Plug-N-Play technology fully integrates the detector with your Professional IC system, and user-friendly MagIC-Net software enables you to easily determine analytes with direct or indirect extinction. For many analytes, the system can reach very low detection limits—even for complex matrices like biological samples.

The 887 UV-VIS Detector can handle a wide range of applications, including pre- or post-column derivatizations (converting otherwise inactive components into UV- or VIS-active molecules). The metal-free PEEK flow cell also allows the determination of transition metals and organic components—in addition to traditional anions/cation determinations—with no risk of contamination.
