Metrohm 873 Biodiesel Rancimat®![]() You are here:
Bringing flexibility to the oxidative stability analysis of biodiesel and biodiesel blends The 873 Biodiesel Rancimat is a modern, easy-to-use, computer-controlled instrument for oxidative stability biodiesel and biodiesel blends (mixtures of biodiesel and conventional diesel fuel) as per EN 14112. With 8 sample positions, 2 separate heating blocks and a software solution for controlling methods, samples and data, the 873 Biodiesel Rancimat is designed to meet the demands of both research and production. Applications:
New developments: Features:
Software The 873 Biodiesel Rancimat software offers complete Windows-based control and storage of method parameters, including temperature, time and air flow rates. Large amounts of sample data can be automatically stored and evaluated based on selected customized or standard methods, such as the American Oil Chemist Society’s AOM-AOCS Cd 12c-92. Curve and temperature evaluations include the ability to estimate product shelf life. Accuracy and reproducibility Designed with eight positions of disposable reaction vessels and easy-to-handle measuring cells to minimize cleaning time, the 873 Biodiesel Rancimat saves time and cost while significantly improving accuracy and reproducibility. The GLP Test Kit with the certified temperature sensor now makes it possible to adjust sample temperature settings more precisely and reproducibly, thus making results more consistent across samples.
