ADI 2018 Ion Analyzer![]() You are here: Metrohm USA >> Products >> Process Analyzers >> ADI 2018 Ion Analyzer The ADI 2018 Ion Analyzer is based on a Dynamic Standard Addition (DSA) method, using high precission burettes and high performance Ion Selective Electrodes. In DSA, the standard addition volume is adapted to the sample concentration by a dynamic differential approach. Moreover it takes into account ISE slope values over several ranges. This means that ISE's can be used to their ultimate low (or high) measuring range, which is mostly non-linear. Possible temperature effects on the analysis results are eliminated by an automated temperature measurement.
Ion Selective Electrode (ISE) Measurements A very common method of measuring specific ions in solution taking advantage of the Nernst equation. Care must be taken due to interferences, temperature/matrix effects and drift of electrodes when using conventional ISE data. Applikon Analytical Ltd uses the patented Dynamic Standard Addition (DSA) method on all ISE measurements to remove all inaccuracies and validate each and every result as correct, giving confidence and reliability as standard. Among the long list of applications are: Sodium in high purity water, Potassium, Nitrate, Fluoride and Ammonia.
