Fix for “stopcock blocked” message in Tiamo

You are here:   Metrohm USA   >>   Support   >>   FAQs   >>   Titration - Stopcock

  1. Close Tiamo software then re-start. All dosing units are initialized and sometimes that is enough to clear the message.
  2. If message persists, remove Dosino® from the buret then unscrew the buret from the reagent bottle. Follow the instructions below to dismantle the unit.
  3. If the Dosino drive shaft is extended into the buret, unscrew the buret and Dosino together from the reagent bottle. Pull the buret cylinder with the black valve disk down and away from the drive. Using the manual control, activate “fill” to pull the drive shaft up. Follow the directions below to dismantle and clean the unit.

Dosino disassemble

  1. Open the housing by depressing the locking button, rotate it counterclockwise and lift it off upwards.
  2. Lift off the centering tube carefully.
  3. Use the piston pliers to pull out the piston peg from the cylinder.
